The movie does well and K makes a huge payday, end of story. What actually happened is that K took a chance and said "let me get a lower salary in exchange for $$ On the back end if the movie does well." Both parties agree and move on. "Keanu fucked over WB" only makes sense in a post-irony world. Not just in reddit but it has permeated social and mainstream media. Only, in reddit, where we think a business agreement means someone fucks over the other.
